OONA has released a soundtrack album for the Finnish historical drama Never Alone (Ei koskaan yksin). The album features the film’s original music composed by Matti Bye (Young Royals, The 101-Year-Old Man Who Skipped Out on the Bill and Disappeared, ToveYoung WallanderA Serious Game, Everlasting Moments). Never Alone is co-written and directed by Klaus Härö and stars Ville Virtanen, Nina Hukkinen, Rony Herman, Kari Hietalahti, Naemi Latzer, Peter Kanerva, Carl-Kristian Rundman, Hannu-Pekka Björkman, Tomi Salmela, Satu-Tuuli Karhu and Rain & Ruben Tolk. The movie tells the true story of a group of Jewish refugees seeking safety in Finland during World War II and Finnish-Jewish businessman Abraham Stiller who risked everything to protect the refugee community. The drama premiered at last year’s Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and just opened in Finnish theaters earlier this month.
