Variety is reporting that Grammy Award-nominated music producer and songwriter A.G. Cook is attached to score the upcoming movie The Moment. The film marks the feature directorial debut of photographer and filmmaker Aidan Zamiri and is based on an original ideal by Charli XCX who will also star and is producing the movie through her new production company, Studio365. No plot details have been revealed yet. Zamiri also co-wrote the screenplay with Bertie Brandes. David Hinojosa (Past Lives, Babygirl) is also producing the project for 2AM. Brandon Creed, Mikey Schwartz-Wright and Zach Nutman will serve as executive producers. Cook has previously collaborated with Charli XCX (who made her own scoring debut on 2023’s Bottoms) several times and executive produced her albums Charli, how i’m feeling now and Brat. The Moment is currently in development and will be released by A24.
