Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (OzarkEnemy, Speak No Evil, The Outsider, Presumed Innocent, The White Tiger, The Gift, The Staircase, Boy Erased, The Devil All the TimeTokyo Vice) have composed the original score for the upcoming horror feature Opus. The film is written and directed by Mark Anthony Green and stars Ayo Edebiri, John Malkovich, Murray Bartlett, Juliette Lewis and Amber Midthunder. The movie follows a young writer who is invited to the remote compound of a legendary pop star who mysteriously disappeared thirty years ago and finds herself in the middle of his twisted plan. Green is also producing the project with Collin Creighton, Brad Weston (Footloose, Queen & Slim), Poppy Hanks (One of Them Days, Blue Bayou), Jelani Johnson (Freaky Tales) and Josh Bachove (The 4:30 Movie). Opus will premiere next week at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and will be released in theaters on March 14 by A24.

Bensi & Jurriaans have also recently co-scored the upcoming documentary Enigma (with James Newberry). The film directed by Zackary Drucker focuses on two women: April Ashley who was immortalized as a trailblazer by embracing her transgender history and Amanda Lear who has consciously denied and obfuscated her history for decades. The movie will also premiere this month at Sundance.
