Milan Records has released a new soundtrack album for the French action adventure The Count of Monte Cristo (Le Comte de Monte-Cristo). The album features piano versions of themes from the film’s original score composed by Jérôme Rebotier (The Fantastic Journey of Margot and Marguerite, Sahara, About Joan) and performed by Alban Claudin. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the three tracks after the jump. The label has previously released the original soundtrack album for the movie digitally and physically last summer. The Count of Monte Cristo is directed by Matthieu Delaporte & Alexandre de La Patellière and stars Pierre Niney, Bastien Bouillon, Anamaria Vartolomei, Anaïs Demoustier and Laurent Lafitte. The movie, which premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival and opened in French theaters last summer, has just been released in select U.S. theaters last month by Samuel Goldwyn Films.
