Dan Deacon (Venom: The Last Dance, Hustle, The Changeling, Ascension, Rez Ball, Twixt, Strawberry Mansion, All Light, Everywhere,Wedding Season) has provided the original score for the upcoming documentary André is an Idiot. The film is directed by Tony Benna and centers on a brilliant idiot who is dying because he didn’t get a colonoscopy and chronicles his unexpected journey as he is learning how to die happily and ridiculously without losing his sense of humor. Andre Ricciardi, Tory Tunnell (Trumbo, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword), Joshua Altman (Wildcat), Stelio Kitrilakis and Ben Cotner (The Case Against 8, The Keepers) are producing the A24, Sandbox Films and Safehouse Pictures production. André is an Idiot will premiere next week at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and is expected to be released later this year by A24.
