22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Winter in Sokcho (Hiver à Sokcho). The album features the film’s original music composed by Delphine Malaussena (Final Set, The Blade, Moon, LaRoy, 66 Questions). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Envol) below. Winter in Sokcho is co-written and directed by Koya Kamura and stars Bella Kim, Roschdy Zem, Mi-Hyeon Park, Doyu Gong, Tae-Ho Ryu and Kyung-Soon Jung. The movie revolves around a young woman struggling to claim her independence and identity who has her routine disrupted when a French artist checks into the small guesthouse in snowy Sokcho where she works. The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is opening in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
