Chris Benstead has recently recorded his score for the upcoming action adventure Fountain of Youth. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, Snatch) and stars John Krasinski, Natalie Portman, Eiza González, Domhnall Gleeson, Carmen Ejogo, Laz Alonso and Stanley Tucci. The movie follows two estranged siblings who partner on a global heist and must use their knowledge of history to follow clues to find the mythological Fountain of Youth. James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, Scream) wrote the screenplay. Ritchie & Vanderbilt are also producing the with Skydance’s David Ellison (Top Gun: Maverick, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation), Dana Goldberg (Reacher, The Old Guard), Don Granger (The Adam Project, The Tomorrow War), Jake Myers (The Greatest Beer Run Ever), as well as Ivan Atkinson, Tripp Vinson (Ready or Not, Abigail), William Sherak (Suspiria, Truth) and Paul Neinstein (The Night Agent, Scream VI). Ritchie’s last five features, The Gentlemen, Wrath of Man, The Covenant, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre & The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and also collaborated with the filmmaker on the first season of last year’s The Gentlemen series for Netflix. Fountain of Youth will premiere this year on Apple TV+.
Also coming up for Benstead is Rohit Karn Batra’s feature The Gun on Second Street. He is also expected to return to score the second season of Netflix’s The Gentlemen.
