The British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA) today announced the longlists for the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2025. This longlisting round was introduced in 2021, resulting in three rounds of voting. Round One voting produced the longlists in all categories announced today. 118 films were submitted for consideration. Round Two voting, to determine the nominations, is opening today to BAFTA’s voting members and will close on January 12. The nominations for the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2025 will be announced on January 15 and the ceremony will take place on February 16.
