Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the thriller The Order. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jed Kurzel (Alien: Covenant, The Babadook, The Snowtown Murders, Monkey Man, Overlord, Assassin’s Creed, The Mustang, The Pope’s Exorcist). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 20 and will be available to stream/download here. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. The Order is directed by Justin Kurzel and stars Jude Law, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Jurnee Smollett and Marc Maron. The movie based on a true story follows a weathered FBI agent who – after an alarming surge in violent bombings and bank robberies in the Pacific Northwest – gets involved in a deadly cat-and-mouse game with a charismatic domestic terrorist plotting to overthrow the US government. The thriller premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and was released earlier this month by Vertical.
