BBC Studios & The Walt Disney Company announced today that Joff Bush (Fisk, The Family Law, Australian Survior, The Strange Chores) will be returning to create the music for an upcoming film adaptation of the Australian hit animated series Bluey. The film is written and director by the show’s creator Joe Brumm and will stars Melanie Zanetti & David McCormack as Bluey’s mum and dad, Chilli and Bandit Heeler. The CG animated feature will continue the adventures of the titular loveable, inexhaustible, blue heeler dog, who lives with her parents and her little sister, Bingo. Amber Naismith is producing the Ludio Studio and BBC Studios production. Richard Jeffery is co-directing the project. Bush has served as the TV show’s composer since it first premiered in 2018. Bluey will be released in theaters in 2027 by Walt Disney Pictures.
