Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the movie musical The End. The album features the film’s original songs written by Joshua Schmidt, with lyrics by director Joshua Oppenheimer and performed by cast members including Tilda Swinton, George MacKay, Moses Ingram, Bronagh Gallagher, Lennie James, Tim McInnerny & Michael Shannon, as well as the original score composed by Schmidt and Marius de Vries (Coda, Kick-Ass, Strange Magic, Navalny) who also serves as an executive producer on the project. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The End co-written and directed by Oppenheimer is set 25 years after environmental collapse left the Earth uninhabitable and follows a family who are confined to their palatial bunker, where they struggle to maintain hope and a sense of normalcy by clinging to the rituals of daily life – until the arrival of a stranger upends their happy routine. The movie premiered at this year’s Telluride Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by Neon.
