Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for the comedy Nightbitch. The album features the film’s original score composed by Nate Heller (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, The Diary of a Teenage Girl, Can You Ever Forgive Me?). Also included is the original song Summer Blue written by Heller and performed by the composer feat. King Isis. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 6 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Nightbitch is written and directed by Marielle Heller and stars Amy Adams, Scoot McNairy, Zoë Chao, Arleigh Patrick Snowden, Emmett James Snowden, Mary Holland, Archana Rajan and Jessica Harper. The movie is based on Rachel Yoder’s novel of the same title and tells the story of a woman thrown into the stay-at-home routine of raising a toddler in the suburbs, but soon her new domesticity takes an unusual turn. The comedy premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by Searchlight Pictures.
