L’R Du Tresor has released a soundtrack album for the French coming-of-age drama And Their Children After Them (Leurs enfants après eux). The album features the film’s original music composed by Amaury Chabauty (Murder Party, Year of the Shark, The Dreamer, Teddy). And Their Children After Them is written and directed by Ludovic Boukherma & Zoran Boukherma and stars Paul Kircher, Angélina Woreth, Sayyid El Alami, Gilles Lellouche, Ludivine Sagnier and Louis Memmi. The movie based on the novel of the same title by Nicolas Mathieu takes place over the course of four summers in the early 1990s and follows three teenagers growing up in a former steel town in Northern France as their destinies intersect, collide and intertwine, amid dreams of escaping the town. The drama premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and is opening in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
