Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, 21/22 Jump Street, The Royal Tenenbaums, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Croods: A New Age) and Nick Lee (The Brothers Sun, Grand Crew) are the composers of the new Hulu limited series Interior Chinatown. The show is created by Charles Yu based on his own novel of the same title and stars Jimmy O. Yang, Ronny Chieng, Chloe Bennet, Sullivan Jones, Lisa Gilroy, Archie Kao and Diana Lin. The drama follows a young Chinese-American actor who stumbles into a murder mystery leading to the discovery of a secret history of Chinatown, the buried legacy of his family and what it means for him in today’s America. Yu is also executive producing the 20th Television production with Dan Lin (It, Sherlock Holmes) & Lindsey Liberatore (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Walker) for Rideback, Jeff Skoll (An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, Neruda), Miura Kite (Noughts + Crosses) and Elsie Choi for Participant, Garrett Basch (Ripley, Devs) for Dive, as well as Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit, Thor: Love and Thunder) who also directed the pilot episode. Interior Chinatown will premiere this coming Tuesday, November 19, exclusively on Hulu.
