Zeltia Montes (Bird Box Barcelona, The Good Boss, Adiós, The Wait, Sad Hill Unearthed, Traces of Sandalwood) has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish psychological thriller Salve Maria. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to Montes’ end credits track after the jump. Salve Maria is co-written and directed by Mar Coll and stars Laura Weissmahr and Oriol Pla. The movie is based on the novel Mothers Don’t by Katixa Agirre and follows a promising young writer and new mother who reads that a French woman has drowned her 10-month-old twins in the bathtub and becomes obsessed with the case. The thriller premiered at this year’s Locarno Film Festival and just opened in Spanish theaters last month.
