Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary Daughters. The album features the film’s original score composed by Kelsey Lu (Earth Mama). Also included are three tracks by Miink. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to Lu’s first track (Our Mirrors) below. Daughters is directed by filmmaker Natalie Rae and social change advocate Angela Patton and follows four young girls as they prepare for a special Daddy Daughter Dance with their incarcerated fathers, as part of a unique fatherhood program in a Washington, D.C. jail. The movie premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award in the U.S. Documentary section, and was released in select theaters and on Netflix this past August.
