Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, Spirited, Money Monster) has been tapped to score the upcoming action movie Love Hurts. The film is directed by JoJo Eusebio and stars Ke Huy Quan, Ariana DeBose, Daniel Wu, Mustafa Shakir, Sean Astin, Lio Tipton, Marshawn Lynch, Rhys Darby and André Eriksen. The movie follows a realtor working the Milwaukee suburbs, where ‘For Sale’ signs bloom, who receives a crimson envelope from a former partner-in-crime that he had left for dead and gets thrust back into a world of ruthless hitmen..Matthew Murray & Josh Stoddard (Warrior) and Luke Passmore (Slaughterhouse Rulez) wrote the screenplay. David Leitch (Deadpool 2, John Wick) is producing the 87North production with Kelly McCormick (Atomic Blonde, Nobody) and Guy Danella. Lewis has previously collaborated with Leitch and McCormick on the features Bullet Train, The Fall Guy and Violent Night. Love Hurts will be released on February 7, 2025 by Universal Pictures.
