Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the British Disney+/Hulu original series Rivals The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Natalie Holt (Loki, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Knightfall, Journey’s End, The Princess, Herself, Beecham House, Press) and Jack Halama (Who Is Erin Carter?, Traces, The Beast Within, Kindred, Rogue) . The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 18. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Rivals is developed by Dominic Treadwell-Collins & Laura Wade based on the novel of the same name by Dame Jilly Cooper and stars Alex Hassell, David Tennant, Aidan Turner, Bella Maclean, Katherine Parkinson, Danny Dyer, Nafessa Williams, Victoria Smurfit and Emily Atack. The 8-parter is set against the backdrop of the drama, excess, and antics of the power-grabbing social elite of 1980s England and explores the ruthless world of independent television in 1986. The series will premiere tomorrow in the U.S. on Hulu and in the UK and most other international markets on Disney+.
