Amazon Content Services has released a soundtrack album for the Columbian crime thriller Pimpinero: Blood and Oil (Pimpinero: Sangre y Gasolina). The album features the film’s original music composed by Pedro Bromfman (Narcos, RoboCop, Elite Squad, Far Cry 6, Thumper). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Carreras) below. Pimpinero: Blood and Oil is co-written and directed by Andrés Baiz and stars Laura Osma, Alejandro Speitzer, Alberto Guerra and Juanes. The movie is set in the early 2010s and takes place in the treacherous desert bordering Colombia and Venezuela, where gasoline smugglers or pimpineros risk their lives transporting illegal fuel. The thriller, which premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, has just been released in Columbia last Thursday and will debut in the U.S. on Prime Video in the coming months.
