Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music will release the official soundtrack album for the drama The Apprentice. The album features the film’s original score composed by Martin Dirkov (Holy Spider, Shorta, Knocking, Border, Holiday, The Charmer), as well as additional music by David Holmes (Ocean’s Eleven, Killing Eve, Haywire, Out of Sight) & Brian Irvine (Ordinary Love) and a track by Danny Forde. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to Dirkov’s first track (Roy and Donald) below. The Apprentice is directed by Ali Abbasi and stars Sebastian Stan, Jeremy Strong, Martin Donovan and Maria Bakalova. The movie is set in 1970s New York and follows young Donald Trump, eager to make his name as a hungry second son of a wealthy family, as he comes under the spell of Roy Cohn, the cutthroat attorney who would help create the Donald Trump we know today. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Briarcliff Entertainment.
