The details of the soundtrack album for the eighth and final episode of the second season of the Prime Video original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have been revealed. The album features the original music from Episode 8 (entitled Shadow and Flame) of Season 2 composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Walking Dead, Outlander, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Marvel’s Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 3 by Amazon Content Services. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. The label has previously released the composer’s scores from Epiodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7), as well as the full Season 2 album featuring selections of the McCreary’s music from the new season over the last couple of weeks. Episode 8 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Prime Video.
