CAM Sugar has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama The Time It Takes (Il tempo che ci vuole). The album features the film’s original music composed by Fabio Massimo Capogrosso (Kidnapped: The Abduction of Edgardo Mortara, Exterior Night). The Time It Takes is written and directed by Francesca Comencini and stars Fabrizio Gifuni, Romana Maggiora Vergano and Anna Mangiocavallo. The movie is based on Comencini’s own upbringing and her relationship with her father, director Luigi Comencini, and centers on a devoted filmmaker father who shares a deep bond with his young daughter. The drama premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and has just been released in Italian theaters this past weekend. No word yet on a domestic release.
