Composer H. Scott Salinas (Warrior, A Private War, Cartel Land, Full Swing, Tiger, City of Ghosts) is reuniting with director George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau) on the upcoming sci-fi thriller Elevation. The film starring Anthony Mackie, Morena Baccarin, Maddie Hasson & Danny Boyd Jr. is set in the post-apocalyptic Rocky Mountains and follows a single father and two women as they venture from the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures to save the life of a young boy. John Glenn (SEAL Team, Eagle Eye), Jacob Roman and Kenny Ryan (SEAL Team) wrote the screenplay. Nolfi, Mackie & Glenn are also producing the project with Brad Fuller (A Quiet Place, The Purge), Alex Black (How to Blow Up a Pipeline, Mother Couch), Natalie Sellers, Jeremy Kipp Walker (Resort to Love, Dog Gone) and Joel Viertel. Salinas has previously collaborated with Nolfi on the director’s last two features, The Birth of the Dragon & The Banker and the TV series Allegiance. Elevation is set to be released in theaters on November 8, 2024 by Vertical.
