The details of the soundtrack album for the seventh episode of the second season of the Prime Video original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have been revealed. The album features the original music from Episode 7 (entitled Doomed to Die) of Season 2 composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Outlander, The Walking Dead, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 26 by Amazon Content Services and will be available to stream/download on Amazon Music. The label has previously released the composer’s scores from the first six Season 2 episodes (Elven Kings Under the Sky, Where the Stars Are Strange, The Eagle and the Sceptre, Eldest, Halls of Stone & Where Is He?), as well as the Season 2 album featuring selections of the McCreary’s music from the new season over the last couple of weeks. Episode 7 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Prime Video.
