Lady Gaga has announced Harlequin, a companion album to Todd Phillips’ psychological thriller Joker: Folie à Deux. The album features thirteen songs performed by the singer/songwriter who stars in the film as Harley Quinn. Harlequin will be released digitally this Friday, September 27 by Interscope Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label will also release the official soundtrack album featuring songs by Gaga next Friday, October 4. A separate album featuring Hildur Guðnadóttir’s original score from the movie is being released this Friday by WaterTower Music. Joker: Folie à Deux is co-written and directed by Phillips also stars Joaquin Phoenix, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener and Zazie Beetz. The sequel will be released in theaters nationwide on October 4 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
