Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the coming-of-age period drama White Bird. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Thomas Newman (American Beauty, Finding Nemo, The Shawshank Redemption, 1917, Skyfall, Road to Perdition, Wall-E, Elemental). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on October 4. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD version. White Bird is directed by Marc Forster and stars Ariella Glaser, Orlando Schwerdt, Gillian Anderson, Helen Mirren and Bryce Gheisar. The movie based on the book by R.J. Palacio is set in the same universe as 2017’s hit feature Wonder and follows the character of Julian who left Beecher Prep and is visited by his grandmother from Paris who tells him stories of her childhood as a young Jewish girl living in Nazi-occupied France during World War II. The drama opened in several international markets over the last year and will be released in U.S. theaters on October 4 by Lionsgate.
