The track list of the score album for Coralie Fargeat’s body horror movie The Substance has been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Raffertie (The Continental: From the World of John Wick, Zone 414, White Dragon, One Way, Bull). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 20 by Waxwork Records. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. A vinyl edition will also be announced tomorrow. A first track has already been released as a digital single earlier this week. The Substance is written and directed by Fargeat and stars Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, Dennis Quaid, Hugo Diego Garcia and Joseph Balderrama. The movie revolves around a fading celebrity who decides to use a cell-replicating substance that temporarily creates a better and younger version of herself. The satirical horror thriller premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival (where it received the award for Best Screenplay) and is being released theatrically in the U.S. and several other markets this weekend by MUBI.
