Adrian Johnston (The Strangers: Prey at Night, Lassie, The Child in Time, Dancing on the Edge, The Tunnel) is the composer of the new British Prime Video limited series A Very Royal Scandal. The show is directed by Julian Jarrold (Sulphur and White, A Royal Night Out), written by Jeremy Brock (The Last King of Scotland, Mrs. Brown) and stars Michael Sheen as Prince Andrew and Ruth Wilson as Emily Maitlis, as well as Joanna Scanlan, Alex Jennings, Éanna Hardwicke and Claire Rushbrook. The 3-part drama is based on the real-life 2019 interview between Emily Maitlis and Prince Andrew over the accusations the Prince faced regarding his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre and follows the action of Maitlis and Prince Andrew in the lead-up to the interview. Jarrold, Brock & are also executive producing the Karen Thrussell, Graham Broadbent & Pete Czernin (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, In Bruges) and Diarmuid McKeown (A Very British Scandal, A Very English Scandal). Johnston has previously collaborated with Jarrold on the features Kinky Boots, Becoming Jane and Brideshead Revisited. A Very Royal Scandal will this coming Thursday, September 19 exclusively on Prime Video.
