Valentin Hadjadj (Close, Girl, April and the Extraordinary World, A Bigger World, Under the Stars of Paris, Rialto) is the composer of the upcoming limited series Families Like Ours (Familier som vores). The show marks the television debut of writer/director Thomas Vinterberg (Far from the Madding Crowd, Another Round) and stars Amaryllis August, Albert Rudbeck Lindhardt, Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Helene Reingaard Neumann, Paprika Steen, Magnus Millang, Thomas Bo Larsen, Esben Smed, David Dencik and Asta Kamma August. The drama tells the story of a family who must say goodbye to their home and each other as the Danish government evacuates the country due to rising water levels. Vinterberg directed and co-wrote (with Bo Hr. Hansen) the 7-parter. Ron Halpern, Jennifer Green, Katrine Vogelsang, Morgane Perrolier, Olivier Bibas, Louise Gigon, Johanna Lind, Elisabeth Tangen, Claudia Grässel, Sebastian Lückel and Christoph Pellander are executive producing the Zentropa Entertainments production. Families Like Ours will premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival and is set to debut in numerous European markets over the next couple of months.
