Studio Viking has released a soundtrack album for the Canadian thriller Hunting Daze (Jour de chasse). Hunting Daze is written and directed by. The album features the film’s original music composed by Peter Venne (The Twentieth Century, Adventures in the Land of Asha, Les barbares de La Malbaie, Avant qu’on explose). Hunting Daze is directed by Annick Blanc and stars Nahéma Ricci, Bruno Marcil, Frédéric Millaire-Zouvi, Alexandre Landry, Marc Beaupré, Maxime Genois and Noubi Ndiaye. The movie follows a young woman who joins a group of hunters in a remote cabin. when a mysterious stranger appears and disrupts her newfound place in their male micro-society. The thriller premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and has just been released in select Canadian theaters this past weekend.
