Antonio Pinto (City of God, McFarland, USA, Nine Days, Shot Caller, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Self/Less, Lord of War) and Gabriel Ferreira (Pele, Dom) have teamed up to score the upcoming biographical/historical drama/thriller Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin. The film is written and directed by Todd Komarnicki (Resistance, Sully) and stars Jonas Dassler, Moritz Bleibtreu, August Diehl, David Jonsson, Flula Borg, Nadine Heidenreich and Lisa Hofer. The movie tells the true story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a pacifist pastor determined to live his life with uncompromising political and spiritual courage while choosing to live in Berlin during the Third Reich. Komarnicki is also producing the project with Emmanuel Kampouris, Camille Kampouris, Ralph Winter (X-Men, Fantastic Four), Mark O’Sullivan (Jericho Ridge), Chloe Kassis-Crowe and John Scanlon. Bonhoeffer will be released in theaters nationwide on November 22, 2024 by Angel Studios.
