Theodore Shapiro (Severance, The Devil Wears Prada, Tropic Thunder, Bombshell, Marley & Me, Destroyer, Spy) has composed the original score for the upcoming action comedy Wolfs. The film is written and directed by Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far from Home & No Way Home) and stars Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Amy Ryan, Poorna Jagannathan and Austin Abrams. The movie follows a professional fixer who is hired to cover up a high-profile crime, but when a second fixer shows up, the two “lone wolves” are forced to work together and find their night spiraling out of control. Watts, Pitt & Clooney are also producing the project with Plan B Entertainment’s Dede Gardner & Jeremy Kleiner (12 Years a Slave, Moonlight), Grant Heslov (Argo, Good Night, and Good Luck) and Dianne McGunigle (Atlanta). Wolfs will premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival before opening in select theaters on September 20 and making its streaming debut on September 27 on Apple TV+.
Shapiro also continues to score Apple TV+’s Severance, which will return for its second season on January 17, 2025. He has also recently scored Paul Feig’s action comedy Jackpot!, which just premiered yesterday on Prime Video.
