MovieScore Media will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi psychological thriller Slingshot. The album features the film’s original score composed by Steffen Thum (Crawl, iBoy, Stockholm Bloodbath, Warning Shot) and produced by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning & Fallout, His Dark Materials, Black Widow, Bad Boys for Life, Black Adam, Top Gun: Maverick). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 30 (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services) and will also be available on the label’s “CD on Demand” format. A first track (All the Right Questions) is already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out after the jump. Slingshot is directed by Mikael Håfström and stars Casey Affleck, Laurence Fishburne and Emily Beecham. The movie follows an elite trio of astronauts aboard a years-long, possibly compromised mission to Saturn’s moon Titan as they gear up for a highly dangerous slingshot maneuver that will either catapult them to Titan or into deep space. The thriller will be released in theaters nationwide on August 30 on Bleecker Street.
