Pressure Cooker Music has released for the South African caper comedy The Shakedown. The album features the film’s original score composed by Andries Smit (Triggered, Vagrant Queen, Prey, House on Willow Street, Seal Team, An Elephant’s Journey) as Pressure Cooker. The Shakedown is co-written and directed by Ari Kruger and stars Carl Beukes, Emmanuel Castis, Julia Anastasopoulos, James Borthwick, Milton Schorr, David Isaacs, Jack Parow and Berenice Barbier. The movie revolves around a respected insurance broker – when his mistress threatens to expose the secret of their affair – seeks the help of his underworld brother to save his reputation. The comedy is premiering today on Prime Video.
