Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie. The album features selections of the movie’s original score composed by Moniker (Skylanders Academy, This Town, Wellington Paranormal, Night Raiders). Also included is the Sandy Cheeks Theme based on the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song and performed by Tami Neilson, as well as original songs written by Neilson, Linda Perry, Kaz, Jacques Brautbar and Chantal Claret. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 2 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to several tracks below. Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie is directed by Liza Johnson and stars Carolyn Lawrence, Tom Kenny, Wanda Sykes, Mr. Lawrence, Clancy Brown, Craig Robinson, Bill Fagerbakke, Johnny Knoxville, Grey Delisle, Rodger Bumpass, Ilia Isorelys Paulino and Matty Cardarople. The Nickelodeon Studios production, which follows Sandy Cheeks & SpongeBob SquarePants as they journey to Texas to save the titular town from a villainous plot when its denizens are suddenly scooped out of the ocean, will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Netflix.
