Hasbro has released a digital version of the 40th Anniversary edition soundtrack album for the 1984 animated series The Transformers produced by Marvel Productions and Sunbow Productions in association with Toei Animation. The album features selections of the show’s (newly remastered) original music composed by Johnny Douglas (The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero) & Robert J. Walsh (Revenge of the Ninjas, My Little Pony: The Movie), as well as new remix of the project’s theme song. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Listen to the first couple of tracks after the jump. A limited vinyl edition has been released earlier this year (visit Amazon to order). The Transformers is now available on VOD and DVD.
