House of Splendor has released a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age drama National Anthem. The album features the film’s original songs written and performed by Perfume Genius . Also included is the movie’s original score composed by Nick Urata (Paddington, Focus, Little Miss Sunshine, Crazy, Stupid, Love., Quiz Lady, Ruby Sparks) The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. National Anthem is co-written and directed by Luke Gilford and stars Charlie Plummer, Eve Lindley, Mason Alexander Park, Rene Rosado and Robyn Lively. The drama follows a young construction worker who accepts a job with a group of queer rodeo performers in search of their own version of the American dream. The movie, which premiered at last year’s SXSW Film Festival, was released in select theaters last Friday by Variance Films and is expanding nationwide this weekend.
