Rouge Neon Records has released a soundtrack album for the Algerian/French drama Six Feet Over (Six pieds sur terre). The album features the film’s original music composed by Adrien Casalis (Winter Crossing). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Six Feet Over is co-written and directed by Karim Bensalah and stars Hamza Meziani, Kader Affak, Mostefa Djadjam and Souad Arsane. The movie tells the story of a former Algerian embassy clerk’s son studying in Lyon who lives under the threat of expulsion after his visa has been revoked and agrees to work for a Muslim funeral home. The drama premiered at last year’s Red Sea International Film Festival and opened in French theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
