Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1999 A&E television movie Small Vices: A Spenser Mystery directed by Robert Markowitz, written by Robert B. Parker and starring Joe Mantegna as Boston detective Spenser. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by David Shire (The Conversation, The Taking of Pelham One Two ThreeAll the President’s Men, Zodiac, Short Circuit, Return to Oz ). Also included are the composer’s scores from the 1996 CBS film Jake’s Women directed by Glenn Jordan, written by Neil Simon 1992 and starring Alan Alda, Mira Sorvino, Anne Archer & Lolita Davidovich, the ABC movie Broadway Bound directed by Paul Bogart and starring Corey Parker, Jonathan Silverman & Anne Bancroft and the 1994 TV movie Texan.
