Josh Atchley (Superfly, Grand Isle, The Rising Hawk, Parallel, 10 Minutes Gone) has provided the original score for the upcoming crime thriller Crescent City. The film is directed by RJ Collins and stars Terrence Howard, Esai Morales, Nicky Whelan and Alec Baldwin. The movie follows a chief detective of a small southern town that becomes terrorized by a relentless serial killer who gets haunted by the horrors of his past as everyone becomes a suspect – including local authorities. Rich Ronat wrote the screenplay. Eduard Osipov (Black Warrant), Vince Jolivette (Zola, Future World), Robert A. Daly Jr. (Hunt Club) and David Lipper (My Favorite Girlfriend) are producing the project. Atchley has previously scored Collins’ first two features, American Sicario and Don’t Suck. Crescent City will be released in select theaters and on VOD on August 16, 2024 by Lionsgate.
