Michael Gatt (Braid, DC Super Hero Girls, Batman: The Long Halloween, Justice League: Warworld, Blood Drive, The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson) has recently scored the new Max original animated series Kite Man: Hell Yeah!. The composer is sharing scoring credit with Jefferson Friedman (Harley Quinn, New Amsterdam, Powerless) on the first episode and has composed the music for the other nine episodes of the first season of the show developed by Dean Lorey (Til Death, My Wife and Kids), Justin Halpern & Patrick Schumacker (Abbott Elementary, Surviving Jack) based on the DC Characters and starring Matt Oberg, Stephanie Hsu, James Adomian, Janelle James, Jonathan Banks, Natasia Demetriou, Michael Imperioli, Keith David, Rory Scovel, Lance Reddick and Judith Light. The Harley Quinn spin-off follows the Kite Man and Golden Glider as they take their relationship to the next level by opening a bar in the shadow of Lex Luthor’s Legion of Doom. Lorey, Halpern & Shumacker are also executive producing the Delicious Non-Sequitur, Lorey Stories, Yes, Norman & Warner Bros. Animation production with Kaley Cuoco (The Flight Attendant) and Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!, Animaniacs). Kite Man: Hell Yeah! will premiere this coming Thursday, July 18 exclusively on Max.
