Marvin Miller (BalloonJim Button and the Wild 13Inside Greenpeace) has signed on to score the upcoming German/Turkish drama Yellow Letters. The film is directed by Ilker Çatak and stars Özgü Namal, Tansu Bicer and Leyla Cabas. The movie follows a famous actress and a professor at the university in Ankara who both lose their jobs and – together with their 13-year old daughter – travel to the professor’s parents in Istanbul, where they have to redefine their way of life. Çatak also co-wrote the screenplay with Ayda Meryem Çatak and Enis Köstepen. Ingo Fliess is producing the project. Miller has previously scored Catak’s 2019 feature I Was, I Am, I Will Be and last year’s The Teachers’ Lounge, which was nominated in the International Feature category at this year’s Academy Awards. Yellow Letters recently finished principal photography and will be released in German theaters in 2025. (Deadline)
