Because Music & One World Films will release the official soundtrack album for the French sci-fi drama Meanwhile on Earth (Pendant ce temps sur Terre). The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Levy (I Lost My Body, Vesper, Breaking Point, For My Country, Star Wars Visions: Sith, Empire of the Wolves). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 4 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Meanwhile on Earth is written and directed by Jérémy Clapin (who made his live-action feature debut on the project) and stars Megan Northam, Sofia Lesaffre and Catherine Salée. The movie follows a young woman who is struggling to come to terms with the disappearance of her brother, an astronaut who vanished during his first mission. The drama premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and is being released in French theaters today. Metrograph Pictures has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. in the coming months.
