Sony Classical has announced the premiere vinyl edition of the score album for Sam Raimi’s 2004 superhero movie Spider-Man 2 starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Alfred Molina, James Franco, Rosemary Harris and Donna Murphy. The album featuring the film’s original music composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) is being released to coincide with the sequel’s 20th anniversary and features a soft-touch jacket with UV spot-gloss webbing on the front cover, along with a 12×12 credit insert showcasing photos from the film. The soundtrack is set to be released this September and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Spider-Man 2 is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
