Suad Bushnaq (Crashing Eid, Salma’s Home, From the Ashes, Montreal Girls, Queen Tut) has released a soundtrack album for the Saudi Netflix original film Basma. The album features the composer’s original music from the movie and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to a track from Bushnqq’s score below. Basma is written and directed by Fatima AlBanawi and stars AlBanawi herself, Yasir AlSasi, Mai Hakeem, Terad Sindi, Mohammed Fawzi. The drama follows a young Saudi woman studying abroad who returns to Jeddah, where she learns that her family has been shielding her from difficult truths. The film premiered earlier this month and is now available to stream on Netflix.
