The full details of the soundtrack album for Yorgos Lanthimos’ Kinds of Kindness have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jerskin Fendrix who previously scored (and received an Academy Award nomination for) the director’s last feature, Poor Things. Also included are songs by Eurythmics, Cobrah, Dio, as well as Margaret Qualley’s rendition of the Bee Gees’ How Deep is Your Love. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 21 by Milan Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and and any other major digital music services. Listen to the composer’s first track and Qualley’s cover after the jump. Waxwork Records will release a vinyl edition. Kinds of Kindness is co-written and directed by Lanthimos and stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Qualley, Hong Chau, Mamoudou Athie, Joe Alwyn and Hunter Schafer. The comedy anthology tells three different stories of a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his missing wife has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find somebody to become a prodigious spiritual leader. The movie premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by Searchlight Pictures.
