Dan Deacon (Hustle, The Changeling, Ascension, Wedding Season, Strawberry Mansion, Twixt, All Light, Everywhere) is the composer of the new Hulu original true crime documentary series Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sherri Papini. The show is directed by Michael Beach Norris (Welcome to Leith) and centers on Keith and Sherri Papini whose seemingly idyllic family life is shattered when Sherri vanishes from their northern California neighborhood, triggering a search that becomes news around the world. The 3-parter features interviews with Sherri’s family and friends, as well as the investigators who struggled for 6 years to solve the mystery of her disappearance. Norris is also executive producing the project with Erin Lee Carr (I Love You, Now Die, Britney vs. Spears), Rob Ford (Goliath, Boys in Blue), Allison Berkley (Earth to Ned, Eli Roth’s History of Horror) and Joseph Freed of Marwar Junction Productions. Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sherri Papini is premiering today exclusively on Hulu.
Deacon has also recently scored Greg Kohs’s documentary The Thinking Game, which just premiered earlier this month at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival.
