Air-Edel Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary One with the Whale. The album features the film’s original music composed by Eloi Ragot (Wild Heart, The Break, Unseen, The Red Orchestra). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Redemption) after the jump. One with the Whale is directed by Jim Wickens & Pete Chelkowski and explores why hunting whales is a matter of life or death for the residents of an Alaskan village. The movie follows a shy Alaska Native teen who becomes the youngest person ever to harpoon a whale for his village and has to deal with thousands of keyboard activists brutally attacking him online. The documentary premiered at various film festivals last year and made its debut on PBS as part of the Independent Lens series this past April.
