Siddhartha Khosla (Only Murders in the Building, This Is Us, The Idea of You, Rabbit Hole, Welcome to Chippendales, Queenpins, Your Place or Mine, Looking for Alaska) has composed the original music for the new Netflix original film A Family Affair. The movie is directed by Richard LaGravanese (P.S. I Love You, Freedom Writers) and stars Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, Joey King, Liza Koshy and Kathy Bates. The romantic comedy follows a young woman who quits her job as the personal assistant to a Hollywood heartthrob and unwittingly sets the stage for a chance encounter between her boss and her famous writer mom. Carrie Solomon wrote the screenplay. Joe Roth (Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent) and Jeff Kirschenbaum (Anyone But You, Fast X) are producing the project. A Family Affair will premiere on June 28, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
Khosla’s other upcoming feature projects include Skydance Animation’s Pookoo, which is expected to premiere in 2025 on Netflix. He also continues to score Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, which is returning for a fourth season and CBS’ Elsbeth, which has been renewed for a second season.
