Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, In the Heart of the Sea, The Machinist, Sexy Beast, The Commuter, 30 Coins, The Girl in the Spider’s Web) has recently been scoring the upcoming action comedy The Killer’s Game. The film is directed by JJ Perry (Day Shift) and stars Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, Scott Adkins, Terry Crews, Pom Klementieff and Ben Kingsley. The movie follows a top hitman who – after geting diagnosed with a terminal illness – decides to take matters into his own hands by taking a hit out on himself. Rand Ravich (The Astronaut’s Wife, Crisis) and James Coyne (Puncture Wounds) wrote the screenplay. Andrew Lazar (American Sniper, 10 Things I Hate About You), Steve Richards (Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House, Freelance) and Kia Jam (Lucky Number Slevin, The Misfits) are producing the Mad Chance and Endurance Media production. The Killer’s Game will be released in theaters nationwide on September 13, 2024 by Lionsgate.
Banos’ other recent feature scoring projects include Santiago Segura’s comedy sequel Father There Is Only One 4</em (Padre no hay mas que uno 4), which is set to open in Spanish theaters on July 18.
